All elementary students worldwide are eligible to enter this festival by submiting their work in any of the categories listed. There is no limit to the number of entries that can be submitted by one person in any category. Group efforts are accepted.

Entry Deadline Mon. June 6th, 2011

Deadline for entries is Mon. June 6, 2011. Entries are to be mailed on disk along with a completed Entry Form and Media Release Form by the due date. Make sure that group efforts have ALL students names printed clearly on the entry form. Classroom teachers can send all their student entries together on disk with an Entry Form for each entry and a Media Release form for each student.

Entry Guidelines

Strict criteria must be met. Make sure that you read them before starting your animation. Artwork and images must be original and any music or sounds used must also be original or used with permission by the artist with credits to them included in the animation. In the case of free music or sounds that are offered by various websites, make sure you follow the rules of use set forth by the site and also credit the website and the artist if their name has been provided.

Judging and Awards

All entries will be pre-screened by the festival committee and then judged by industry professionals.
Each student entering an animation will receive the festival Certificate of Achievement.
The Top 2 winning entries will receive the Festival Trophy and an award from Thinnox Design Academy in Mississauga.
