Improve Student Achievement Through Integration of Animation

As an example, at Bluffton Elementary School where they use Flip Boom, they have been so successful that they actually teach every subject with animation. This innovative in-class approach has proven to be very successful. Results speak for themselves. In 2010, 84.4 % of 5th grade were on or above grade level for the PASS skilled writing test, and in 2011 the percentage increased to 86.2% on or above grade level. The number of 5th grade students considered exemplary in writing in 2009 was 47.2%, this increased to 56.5% in 2010. In 2009, 30.6% of the 5th grade students were considered exemplary in Social Studies, this increased to 41.9% in 2010.
